LASER ENGRAVING

Many natural stone materials can be marked using CO2 laser power.
Polished stone such as marble, slate and granite can be marked with text, logos and even photographs with a very high level of detail.

Many types of plastic laminates are available for laser engraving and cutting, these consist of a core plastic of one colour which is laminated with a very thin surface plastic of another colour. When the laser engraves away the surface colour the core colour below is exposed.
Plastic laminates are available in many different core and surface colours and is used in the production of electrical control panel legends, hazard signs, memorial plaques and many more, Laser cutting this material produces a crisp clean edge not possible with traditional machines.

Laser Engraving is a popular method for frosting or etching glass products such as awards, drinking glasses, mirrors, wine bottles and promotional gifts.
Text, logos and photographs can be reproduced.

Natural wooden products are widely processed using the laser which is capable of producing two different effects by using either a high or a low power output.

The low power method is used to mark just the surface of the wood with a dark branding effect meaning a very high level of detail can be achieved making it possible to engrave photographs on woods like cherry and rosewood. The High power method actually cuts into the surface of the wood or MDF which can then be colour filled with enamel paint to produce products such as signs or memorial plaques and details can be added to existing products like picture frames. Both above methods can be used to either engrave the details directly to the material or the background can instead be engraved away causing the details to be seen in relief.

LASER CUTTING

Many types of plastic laminates are available for laser engraving and cutting,
these consist of a core plastic of one colour which is laminated with a very thin surface plastic of another colour. When the laser engraves away the surface colour
the core colour below is exposed.

is used in the production of electrical control panel legends, hazard signs, memorial plaques and many more.

Acrylic of all different colours, finishes and thickness up to 15mm can be very precisely cut using laser vector cutting. Laser cutting acrylic does not involve any risk of cracking or scratching the material that traditional drilling or sawing can result in, Instead it produces a crisp and clean edge that is optically perfect.

Natural wooden products and materials are widely processed using the laser which is capable of cutting through up to 20 mm depth with pin point accuracy.
Any designs or shapes can be easily vector cut into or through the wooden materials of many different types, this process is widely used to produce balsa wood components for the building of  model aeroplanes and many other items.

LASER METAL MARKING

Laser Marking, The surface metal is coated with Cermark laser compound and when dry the details are lased onto the surface causing the compound to convert to ceramic and fuse to the surface of the metal, excess compound is washed away with water leaving the high contrast black image. Solvent Resistant, UV Resistant, Abrasion Resistant.
